NOTICE OF VACANCIES
ZONING & PLANNING BOARD
The Town of Silver Plume recently adopted Ordinance 340 Updating the Land Use and Zoning Regulations, subdivision regulations, sign and outdoor advertising regulations, watershed protection regulations, and guidelines and regulations for areas of activities of state interest.
The newly updated Land Use Code will combine the members of the current Zoning Board and the current Planning Commission to form one Board consisting of five (5) members. (Four (4) members are appointed by the Board of Trustees for a term of six (6) years; and one member to be the Mayor or appointed Trustee for a term corresponding with his/her official tenure.)
Qualified Zoning & Planning Board applicants should be part-time or year-round residents of the Town or non-resident property owners – please keep in mind meetings are held on an “as needed” basis and regular, dependable attendance is a requirement.
